This must've been the most difficult thing I have ever read. The only thing I walked away understanding is, no one knows how power is distributed. Not the elitist, not the pluralist not even the political scientist majors. I personally can't seem to agree with neither. Who really has the power? The president the, police, the judge jury or the man that commits the crime and gets away with it without anyone ever knowing he did it? That's power, breaking the law and paying no consequence for your action, but who really has that power? The president, governors, police officers and judges and the wealth, that's where power ends and begins.

All this talk about power, took me back to an article I had to read for a class I am taking that focus is Moscow Russia. The name of the article is "The land, people, and History". Russia had a numerous number of Tsars; a Tsar is a title used to designate East South and Slavic monarchs or supreme rulers of Eastern Europe. So, as I was saying whoever was the tsar during that era would have complete power. For example, Joseph Stalin, he was a soviet revolutionary, leading the Soviet Union through dictatorship. Stalin ruled by terror and numerous citizens died during his ruling. Stalin decades of ruling were known as the dark ages. Joseph Stalin had all the power, the only reason that his time ruling was over it was because he died.
This event came to mind because, times have change. There’s always somebody that has more power than someone. The power doesn’t all go to one person. Power today is divided up, and not equally, but it is split up. Many people may not agree with the way power is divided but at least it is. Too much of anything is bad for you.

  2. i agree that all the power shouldn't be given to one person, but in the United States, Power is heavily distributed to the 1% and I don't find that to be beneficial to the 99%
